Job Description

  • Accountable for the local service delivery and achieving the budget of the Service Functions Controlling, Finance & Accounting, Commercial Order Processing and Procurement (if not bundled in the respective Regional Shared Service Center).
  • Supports change, communicates, implements global and regional policies in terms of accounting processes, service processes, IT-tools, procurement processes and quality management on regional and local level within the respective Controlling, Finance & Accounting, Commercial Order Processing and Procurement function.
  • Steers, monitors and manages P&L and balance sheets, cash flows, analyses and timely corporate reporting.
  • Performs monthly KPI reviews in alignment with the Global Offices’ guidelines and a variety of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections.
  • Creates monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (local GAAP and IFRS) and tax declarations as required.
  • Carries out project budget and cost controlling in cooperation with the BO E&A and the Regional Finance Director (RFD).
  • Further develops the operational control processes, structures and systems in line with the guidelines set by GO’s and the RFD.
  • Keeps close contacts with banks, governments, auditing firms and other financial stakeholders and support ongoing know-how transfer between countries.
  • Responsible for the organizational setup of the local finance department in alignment with global organizational guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Good knowledge in English (B1 Intermediate).
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in related area.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in/ with intercultural teams (only when located outside Germany).
