Job Description

  • Identifies public and commercial tender opportunities
  • Evaluates tenders regarding feasibility, profitability, legal risks, risk analysis
  • Prepares tenders in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Is primary contact for the client, internal stakeholders (business fields, finance / controlling / legal departments, decision-making management, etc.) and external partners
  • Responsible for bid-writing or for joining a tender team in bid-writing.
  • Responsible for the overall bid strategy when appointed as opportunity owner.
  • Responsible for meeting all formal requirements and for a timely submission of the offer
  • Negotiates or participates in negotiations with clients
  • Track and documents tender results
  • Responsible for compliance with overarching internal and external processes (e.g. global tender management processes).
  • Supports the systematic and continuous improvement of tender management in the related area of responsibility.
  • Supports Business Fields and KAMs (Key Account Management) in preparing and concluding framework agreements with clients.
  • Keeps customer data up to date in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, applies CRM tools for pipeline management and further sales analytics, creates reports in area of responsibility.
  • Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (B2 Upper Immediate), further language welcome but not required.
  • User knowledge in MS Office, experience in Salesforce welcome but not required.
  • Hands on mentality.
  • Strong sales, negotiation and coordination skills
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • At least 3 5 years of professional experience in Tender Management or related area
