The salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000.
Job Description
- ■Provide input to Long Rang Planning and execute global strategy with locally relevant initiatives.
- ■Maintain in depth understanding of regional industry related dynamics
- ■Manage financial forecasting and staff utilization.
- ■Ensure teams collaborate and have the right processes and tools in place to best serve our customers.
- ■Oversee daily operations within region to accomplish operating goals, including budgeting, capacity planning, financial objectives, sales, operations and employee engagement.
- ■Identify and provide input on new initiatives and investment plans.
- ■Own productivity improvement plans.
- ■Champion an engaged, inclusive, and attractive work environment for TUV employees with a winning culture.
- ■Ensure the right talent is in place to support the needs of the business.
- ■Interact with key customers and other stakeholders across the region.
- ■Attend industry events and network with customers and key stakeholders.
- ■Engage in quarterly business reviews with big and complex customers.
- ■Support recruiting high-performing electrical inspectors and field certification specialists.
- ■Build bench strength aligned to growth projections.
- ■Adapt new technologies (such as automation, AI, etc) to support the customer service and productivity improvements
- ■Develop succession planning.
Education
University Degree in Communication or equivalent work experienceWork Experience
- ■Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
- ■10+ years of related experience in laboratory testing and or inspection services
- ■Understanding of ISO / IEC 17020. NFPA 790, NFPA 791 and related Canadian equivalents
- ■Knowledge of customer and industry standards
- ■Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ■Strong technical problem solving and process improvement skills
- ■Ability to work in stressful situations
- ■Good time management and organizational skills
- ■Complete knowledge of engineering principles techniques
- ■Excellent leadership skills
