Job Description
- ■Prepares the inspection service.
- ■Considers and studies the relevant regulations, norms and standards.
- ■Executes simple inspections (e.g. preshipment inspections) or inspections corresponding to qualification (e.g. welding inspections) according to the customer assignment.
- ■Might perform expediting or auditing services, if qualified.
- ■Under certain circumstances, the services can also be carried out with a remote solution.
- ■Creates a final report.
- ■Communicates closely with the coordinators and customers.
- ■And other duties as assigned.
Education
University DegreeDiploma in Mechanical EngineeringExperience & Further Qualifications
- ■
a.Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma or higher educational qualification in
engineering in the respective engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical,
Metallurgy, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication or an approved
equivalent discipline as required based on the scope of work.
b. Be conversant with the relevant and applicable International Codes and Standards.
c. Have a proven continuous working period of at least three years with the assigned
TPIA unless waived by PED on a case-by-case basis.
d. Maintain relevant valid competency, qualification, and experience certificates.
e. Have 10 years of experience in QA/QC, Inspection and Testing activities for the
relevant discipline in Fabrication, Manufacturing and Construction in Oil and Gas or
Petrochemical Industry as required by the scope of work.
