Job Description
- ■Perform thorough inspections of cargo, containers, and related import/export goods at ports and marine terminals based on contractual and regulatory requirements.
- ■Conduct pre- and post-loading inspections to confirm proper handling and transportation of goods.
- ■Inspect and evaluate compliance with safety standards, quality measures, and technical specifications.
- ■Coordinate inspections in Turkey and Europe Region.
- ■Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific inspection requirements and timelines.
- ■Work collaboratively with other Surveyors and professionals to ensure that all inspections and assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- ■Co-ordinate with suppliers and Subcontracted Inspector when necessary for Inspection activities.
- ■Prepare detailed, accurate inspection reports, including findings.
- ■Maintain up-to-date records of inspections and assessments.
- ■Responsible for Daily update to client & Preparation of Final report.
- ■Prepare Service offer
- ■Communicate with Client, respond inquiries and make clarifications.
Experience & Further Qualifications
- ■Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant qualification in Marine Surveying, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- ■At least 3-5 years of experience in inspection, surveying, or similar roles in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector.
- ■Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- ■Experience conducting various types of marine surveys (e.g., on/off-hire, cargo, hull, condition) is essential.
- ■Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ■Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
- ■Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- ■Willingness to travel to various sites,
- ■Proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant software.
