Technical Sales Engineer - Industrial Services - Job Description
Meet and exceed order-income and revenue targets across new and existing medium and large clients.
Build a focus-customer list with the Business Managers, generate and convert leads, and acquire and recover customers through regular engagement.
Identify client needs across the Civil Infrastructure Integrity and Project Supervision portfolio including Project Management Consulting, Owner’s Engineer, Lender’s Technical Advisor, civil & structural inspection and the Mechanical Asset portfolio including Asset Integrity Management Services, Ris Based Inspection environment, environmental & emissions, carbon & sustainability, functional safety and CE marking OT cybersecurity bringing in subject-matter experts where needed.
Sell consultatively - translate client asset-integrity, project-assurance and compliance challenges into tailored TÜV Rheinland solutions.
Own quotations, negotiation and contract close in line with TR requirements; document all activity in Salesforce; monitor market and competitors.
Cross-sell across the lifecycle - e.g. project supervision at CAPEX flowing into asset integrity at operations, or pairing AIM mandates with functional safety and OT-cyber.
Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, or a relevant technical / engineering discipline.
At least 4 years of sales experience in a technical environment, preferably in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.
A proven track record in consultative, solution-based selling, with pronounced technical comprehension of the field.
The ability to converse credibly with engineers and asset owners about inspection, integrity, project assurance and compliance.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills; self-driven, able to meet deadlines without supervision; CRM / Salesforce literate.
