Job Summary

A 10-week, hands-on internship designed for student to deepen their understanding of corporate finance, procurement, financial analysis, and business operations. You will work directly with finance and procurement professionals and contribute to, or coordinate, financial work along while building finance related skill.

Job Description

  • Support financial analysis & work with financial information — assist with cost savings analysis, update spreadsheets, provide financial reports.
  • Special project and research (compliance and record retention) — Research record retention requirements, and recommend updates to the company policy based on IRS requirements and company policies (including data protection/GDPR). Document where records currently reside, and steps needed to bring records in-house.
  • Assist with finance tasks — review invoices, purchase orders, quotes etc. for address/email accuracy as directed. Run reports in SAP and excel. Provide and/or verify customer and supplier information and contact them to update addresses and tax/1099 status as needed.
  • Collaborate across teams — partner with other departments to complete your work and understand how financial decisions impact the business.
  • Present your work — deliver documentation or presentation summarizing your contributions over the course of your internship.

Work Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Detail-oriented, and eager to learn & contribute in a multi-national company environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
