Are you passionate about shaping digital solutions that empower business operations worldwide? We are looking for an Application Manager, located in our office in Portugal (Lisbon, Amadora), for one of our key software solutions.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous rollout of a solution that enables our operation to stream line their daily business, benefiting from efficiency gains and increased quality in the service delivery process. Your role is critical for ensuring smooth operations, continuous improvement, and global rollout of the application. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions, manage requirements, and drive enhancements that make our processes more efficient and transparent. As Application Manager, you will:

  • Raise need for adjustments & improvements in form of change requests, bugs.
  • Manage Service Templates to improve existing and enable new use cases
  • Coordinate and oversee roll-out preparation tasks to support operations with their rollout activities.
  • Manage control tables to steer the global rollout of the application.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize input masks for structured data capture across multiple regions.
  • Organize and coordinate translation activities for multilingual support of input masks and documentation.
  • Create and maintain end-user documentation to ensure clarity and usability for all stakeholders.
  • Act as an subject matter expert for application-related inquiries and support (Third-level support)

Requirements

  • Vocational Degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent work experience
  • 1 - 3 years of professional experience as application manager or similar function, preferably in a global or multi-region context
  • Preferably experience working with JIRA (backlogs, boards, workflows) and Confluence/SharePoint (documentation & governance)
  • Preferably experience working with JSON and XML schema
  • Fluent in English (B2 Level - Upper-Intermediate)
  • Preferably native or proficient in Portuguese, any additional languages (e.g. German) is a plus
  • Clear communicator (translate technical topics into business language and vice versa)
  • Stakeholder and expectation management (excellent communication across regions, managing time zones and cultural differences)
  • Positive attitude with affinity for teamwork and strong motivation to learn more every day
