Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ■Assists the technical staff in lab-related duties
- ■Performs daily and periodic verifications of test equipment
- ■Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and minor repairs to instrumentation
- ■Performs routine housekeeping including cleaning of equipment and lab areas. Maintain, store and properly dispose of materials as needed
- ■Maintains the Calibration Database and schedules calibrations as required
- ■Assists in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements
- ■Initiates recommendations for new equipment.
- ■Demonstrates safe work practices in accordance with laboratory and company policies
- ■Performs other duties as assigned
Education
Associate in Chemistry or equivalent work experienceWork Experience
- ■2 years’ related experience
- ■Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP applications
- ■Associate degree in chemical/stem or equivalent education and/or experience
- ■Excellent communication skills
- ■Knowledge of operation and maintenance of test equipment
- ■Knowledge of proper laboratory techniques and protocols
