We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to lead our Accounting operations and contribute to our ongoing success at TÜV Rheinland Bulgaria. Job Description
Role Overview: TÜV Rheinland Group is a global leader in independent Testing, Inspection and Certification services. As the Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in running our daily accounting operations. You will be responsible for all matters of accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- ■Handles daily accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll accounting, utilities, treasury, cash forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- ■Perform other tasks like tax reporting
- ■Ensure accurate and timely financial closing and reporting processes.
- ■Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
- ■Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- ■Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- ■Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a finance representative.
Experience & Further Qualifications
- ■Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- ■At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles,
- ■Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). and regulatory requirements.
- ■Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA).
- ■Advanced level of English both written and spoken.
- ■Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- ■High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
