Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will analyze financial data, prepare monthly reports, and support financial controlling activities. The role provides an opportunity to develop analytical skills, apply strategic thinking and gain hands-on experience in reporting and data analysis within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial and operational performance reports.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends, variances, and key insights.
  • Support monthly financial close process including variance analyses on financial results to highlight potential risks or irregularities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business team members on budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support ad-hoc financial modeling and data analysis projects as requested by stakeholders. Identify key improvement areas and work with team to implement and manage change

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role (internships or co-op programs are considered).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with financial statements, budgeting processes, and key financial metrics.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow and develop in a fast-paced environment.
