Job Summary
TÜV Rheinland is investing in the Italian laboratories to improve our capability and offer new services to our customers. If you are a senior SAF Laboratory Technician, experienced in testing of electrical devices according to technical standards, and you would like to take part to a fast-growing company, take a look at this opportunity!
Job Description
- ■Perform the tests according to technical standard.
- ■Manage the assigned projects in collaboration with the Laboratory Manager.
- ■Share the tests’ results with the customer.
- ■Draft and issue the test report.
- ■Ensure the proper use of the tools, in agreement with the existing procedures and instructions.
- ■Register and file the raw data and is responsible for their proper elaboration.
- ■Support and train the junior technicians.
- ■Take part of the internal/3rd part audit
Skills and requirements
- ■Familiarity with the testing instruments.
- ■Knowledge of UL technical standards for the electrical safety.
- ■Experience in testing according to one or more the following standard: UL 1082, UL 197, UL 1081, UL 778, UL 471, UL 563, UL 751, UL 541, UL 858.
- ■Technical diploma or Engineering Degree.
- ■6+ years of experience in the field or in a Laboratory.
- ■Good command of English (B2).
- ■Excellent command of Italian.
