申请! Compensation DataThe salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 and reflects factors such as years of experience, relevant expertise, and overall qualifications. Job SummaryThe Facility Specialist is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of company facilities, including office, laboratory, mechanical, utility, and general building areas. This hands-on role performs and coordinates preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, vendor support, and general building maintenance to ensure the site remains safe, compliant, and operational.Job DescriptionPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- ■Conducting regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- ■Coordinate test equipment calibration and repair activities. Maintain calibration records and support the calibration database
- ■Track, organize, and manage customer test samples and TUV equipment according to procedures
- ■Coordinating shipping and receiving of equipment and test samples. Managing customer test samples
- ■Strong hands-on maintenance and repair skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve general facility issues.
- ■Ability to perform minor repairs, installations, adjustments, and troubleshooting using appropriate tools and safety practices.
Job Description (if text exceeds 260 words)- ■Familiarity with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, ladder safety, hand and power tool safety, PPE requirements, and general workplace safety practices.
- ■Ability to recognize when work requires a licensed contractor, specialized vendor, permit, or additional safety review.
- ■Ability to build test setups as needed to support the laboratory
- ■Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- ■Implementing safety and security measures to ensure the safety of building occupants and protect facilities and equipment.
- ■Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure the facilities comply with all relevant laws and codes.
- ■Responsible for working with vendors for scheduled maintenance on facility equipment.
- ■Ensures smooth site operations and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.
- ■Coordinate with staff to ensure all facility needs are updated.
- ■Other work as assigned.
Education High School Diploma Work Experience- ■1–3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, laboratory support, equipment coordination, or a related technical field preferred
- ■Experience in building maintenance, facility operations, engineering support, or a related hands-on technical field preferred.
- ■Practical experience performing or supporting plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, general repair, or building maintenance work preferred.
- ■Experience in a laboratory, R&D, manufacturing, testing, or technical services environment is preferred.
- ■Strong technical skills, project management experience, and effective communication skills are also essential.
- ■Knowledge of laboratory equipment and processes
- ■Knowledge of ISO 17025
- ■Microsoft Office experience
Additional Work RequirementsPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT- ■Work is performed in a mixed-use office, laboratory, R&D, mechanical, utility, and general facility environment.
- ■Position requires regular walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working in mechanical or maintenance areas.
- ■Must be able to climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and access building systems and equipment as needed.
- ■Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, or pull tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier items may require assistance.
- ■May work near mechanical equipment, electrical panels, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, noise, dust, odors, temperature changes, and other normal facility maintenance conditions.
- ■May be required to wear PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, safety shoes, lab coat, or other required protective equipment.
- ■May occasionally work outside normal business hours to support maintenance, repairs, emergencies, shutdowns, or contractor work.
- ■Must follow all applicable company safety procedures, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
