SUMMARY:

The purpose of the internship is to provide professional practical experience to engineering students.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ■Observe and perform various service and test processes and procedures.
• ■Learn and ensure proper care of tools and test equipment and ensure calibration.
• ■Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of equipment.
• ■Complete necessary service and repair documentation following company policies and procedures.
• ■Work with senior level engineers to write and formalize test plans. Provide technical support.
• ■Maintain communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• ■Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

• ■Strong academic performance.
• ■ Ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner.
• ■Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications

Education

• ■Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree or higher level college/university program in engineering.

Experience

• ■No professional experience required.
