• Having a fair knowledge about various material characterization and material testing services techniques.
• Gain a deep technical understanding of the company's material characterization techniques, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and thermal analysis.
• Should have knowledge of chemical characterization techniques, like ICP, GC, LC and conventional methods.
• Having knowledge of electron microscopy (especially SEM-EDX and TEM) and other investigative tools like MicroCT, Surface profilers, Raman Spectroscopy.
• Should be aware of Non-Destructive testing and evaluation , Should have knowledge about metallographic equipment and their application.
• Biocompatibility and Microbiology testing knowledge is an added advantage.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, new market segments, and industry trends.
• Generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and initial contact to negotiation and closing deals.
• Develop and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with current and potential clients to ensure retention and future growth.
• Work with technical, operations, and marketing teams to create proposals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
• Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, such as Materials Science, Chemistry/Physics, or Engineering, is highly preferred.
• Experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within a testing laboratory or similar technical services industry.
• A strong command of the domain subject matter, including knowledge of material properties and characterization methods.
0-1 years of experience in business development/sales related field and would prefer sales experience in material testing services.
